My name is Marisela Rangel. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have been working at Shields for 16 years and am a Special Education Classroom Assistant (SECA). I absolutely love working with all our students and being a part of the Shields family!​

Hello, I am better known as Ms. Mendez, and I have been working at Shields Elementary for over ten years. I am a Special Education Classroom Assistant and I have worked with most grade levels. I absolutely  love working with the younger children and have had the opportunity to work with the preschool team for the last three years and it has been such a rewarding experience for me.  In my free time I spend a lot of time with my family, we love to explore this beautiful city, and travel.

Hello, I'm Grecia Garcia from room 121. I started working at Shields Elementary School this year, I'm very  grateful to work here in Pre-k . I have worked with children for 7 years now. I got an Associate in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time I like to have long walks, I love dogs, and I have a guinea pig.
