Students at Shields who are in good academic standing have the opportunity to participate in after school activities. By participating in an after school activity students have the ability to develop values of teamwork, responsibility, cooperation, and culture and community. Extracurricular activities can lead to better success in school, better attendance, and aspirations for continuing education.
